The Story of a Picture

This photo is not simply selfie, it's a New Year's selfie. It was taken on December 31, 2014 to mark the first new year, of my friend and mine, without our families.
This new year, my dad and my sisters wanted to travel to Valparaíso to see the fireworks and I preferred to stay in Santiago.
For a few days I had nothing planned, even thought I would spend the new year alone, which saddened me a little. But Seba, my friend in the photo, told me that his grandparents and his mom would go to San Vicente, so we agreed to have dinner together.
It was a nice evening, we talked a lot, we did a very sophisticated dinner with a roast beef, salads and a delicious dessert and drank wine and beer to commemorate the date. Then we joined my group of friends in Ñuñoa Square to watch the fireworks and returned to Seba's mother department to share in "family".
It was the first time we celebrated all of a decent way because we're used to drink cheap drinks in a squat house from a friend. But this time we laugh at how old we were. We were dressed a little more formal, in a beautiful apartment, drinking and eating like civilized young people.
It was a great night!!
